Talk Yourself Into It!

Matthew 9:21, “For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” 

Have you ever talked to yourself. If not, you need to try it. It just may well be one of the greatest conversations you may ever have. David who was a man after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22) talked to himself in Psalm 103:1-2 when he said, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. In Luke 15:18 the Prodigal son had a conversation with himself and said, “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.” These conversation was between them and their soul! I truly recommend that we have a one on one with our ourselves today. Today let’s speak, chat chatter, and utter, say, voice and express, articulate, pronounce, verbalize and vocalize, converse and communicate to ourselves. Don’t just have any kind of talk! Have a talk to yourself about Jesus! Say Self; go ahead and reach up and grab Him! Like the woman with the issue of blood, tell yourself to, “reach up and touch the hem of His garment.” Go ahead today and, “Talk Yourself Into It!” Remember these three things. 

1. Tell yourself that you can do it: This women with the issue of blood talked herself into crawling through her pain, problem, and people to get to Jesus. I believe she told herself, “Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” 

2. Tell yourself that you can have it: This women with the issue of blood convinced herself that healing was hers! She knew that Jesus was a healer. She told herself just make it to Jesus and it’s yours! I believe she told herself Isaiah 53:5, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” 

3. Tell yourself to go for it: This women with the issue of blood encouraged herself to grab Jesus! After going through hell with Heaven on her mind, she encouraged herself by saying to herself, “reach up and grab Him!!!” Whew Lord! I believe she told herself Psalms 34:19, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” 

This Women with the issue of blood got her healing, she got her deliverance, she got her breakthrough, she got her blessing, all because she had a talk with herself. Today let’s try it. Say self, “you can do it!” Say self, “you can have it!” Then say self, “GO FOR IT!” The healing of The Lord is Available RIGHT NOW! Tell yourself to “REACH UP AND TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT!!” Have you ever talked to yourself? If not... try it. When it comes to believing the Lord for your healing, deliverance, breakthrough and blessings, “Talk Yourself Into It!”
